I feel it should not be over thought. I forget about twitter, and occasionally remember tumblr, pinterest, and instagram. Facebook came first for me, but I very much dislike politics and religious debate on facebook of any sort. It is so frequent and I do not understand why.

Yes SOPA/PIPA got so much backlash that now Senate has postponed voting on them, and it looks like they will not be able to pas them as law in their current shape/content. Thanks for the posts! I did that too. I think just spreading the words among readers is important.
Regarding social media tools, I am still not inclined to use Google+ as much as I would like to..It is just a little odd in its usage for a blogger!
I use FB and Twitter, have a sleeping tumbler blog, which I think is doing nothing for a moment..

First, I am reading backwards (catching up) so will read the SOPA/PIPA post immediately after.
Impressed by the array of computers on your desk.

I've had several incarnations on Blogger and like you, use it for words and light touches on politics.

Just recently began to post not-so-good photos on Tumblr to prove to some of my readers that I have off or bad days or do things besides wear clothing in my life.

It has taken a year to even begin to get the hang of Twitter. My conversations there are often awkward, but it is a great way to follow news and some other bloggers.

I check Facebook once a week for messages and friend requests. I maintain it primarily for friends and former students. I'm somewhat paranoid that FB of all these platforms has the capability to know things about me that I would like to keep private. Hence, the sparse use of that platform.

I have a presence on Google+, but haven't really used it at all.

I like Pinterest more and more lately.

Cool post. Its always nice to know how other fellow bloggers are using the array of social media sources available. Like you, my blog is like my headquarters, the other resources are to enhance and reach more people in different ways.

So, I have my blog I link posts on Twitter and a Facebook Fan Page. Through Twitter I share updates, conversations with other followers, Foursquare check-ins and Instagram pictures. On Facebook I share updates and picture albums. And, like you noticed I also share information on Foursquare and Instagram through check-ins, pictures and comments. - Carla

It can all be so overwhelming! I have blogger and I have a tumblr account that I really haven't done much with, but am thinking that I may use that as strictly daily outfits. I really do like having a photo diary of what I wear. Sometimes I put something together that I really like and then later I forget what it was....a photo diary helps this.

As for Twitter, I only have @elegantboheme. I tweet about things relevant to fashion and quotes #wordsIwanttoliveby. I kind of use it as a personal twitter without getting TOO personal. I have two separate facebooks, but sometimes I don't really know what to do with The Elegant Bohemian one. I think I need to use it to promote my ebay store more. Yeah....as I'm typing this, I'm thinking this is exactly what I need to do. Use it as an online scrapbook to interact with other bloggers of like interests and promote my ebay store.

I appreciate the SOPA/PIPA post.

I love using Blogger. I've considered creating a Tumblr but I'll leave the random photo sharing for others, and keep the original content to my Blogger account. I simply don't have time to consider Twitter. Facebook is kept for my personal life, as well as promoting my store among friends and family.

As for Kyoto Maiko, unless you're really trying to create a "brand image", I find the use of so many platforms unnecessary. Your Blogger content speaks for itself, and your readership will keep growing simply from this.
